About Me

I am a passionate, hardworking sound designer. I have completed the Sound Design for Visual Media program at Vancouver Film School.
Throughout the past couple of years, I have developed an extensive knowledge in Sound Design, building on the foundation of my music skills. I am proficient at playing several instruments, including drums, guitar, and piano, as well as synthesizing new melodies through the use of multiple programs such as Xpand, GarageBand, and Native Instruments programs like Kontakt, FM8, and the like. I have found that my base knowledge and passion for music has been a great asset in my work at Sound Design.

Since the beginning of my formal education, I have been intensely drawn to the game design industry. I am constantly engaged in playing, analyzing and critiquing the audio of a wide variety of video games and movies, which has strengthened my ability to design sounds for these types of media. I am extremely skilled with Pro Tools. I can deliver fresh, accurate sounds for any type of visual media. I love piecing together sounds to create either a replica of something recognizable or something completely original. I also greatly enjoy implementation within Wwise, whether its using blend and random containers to create a single sound that is subtly different every time, or creating RTPCs to affect pitch, volume, and/or the EQ of multiple sounds. I am an intuitive, creative sound designer always open for a challenge and am an enthusiastic learner, able to pick up new skills quickly and adapt to new situations. I find the aspect of implementing great sounds while still adhering within the games restraints a difficult yet fun challenge. The Sound industry is my passion; the perfect fit. I love Sound.

If you would like any additional information, I would be happy to oblige.
